Aercomp Precision Engineering Ltd operates a quality management system to AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015, this is certified by LRQA. You can view our profile on IAQG OASIS, our OIN is 6126259205. We’ve long demonstrated a commitment to quality management, gaining our first certification to ISO 9000 in 1999 and AS9100B in 2009.

Through our network of approved suppliers, we are also able to offer Nadcap accredited special processes, including treatments and NDT.

Continual Improvement

Aercomp are always looking for opportunities to improve our processes across the whole business. Whether this is improving our production process directly, improving our supplier performance or reducing the administrative burden of back office processes.

To improve our production process, we regularly trial new cutting tools and coolants as they come on the market and adopt any that can economically improve quality and throughput. Increasingly, we’re reviewing programmes with toolpath optimisation software to make use of the speed and quality benefits associated with modern toolpaths - including innovations like constant force cutting.

Aperture

Since 2014, we’ve invested in having a piece of custom software, Aperture, developed to increase the use of automation and improve visibility in our quality management system and all of our business processes. Aperture ensures that all production information is easily traceable and quick to recall when necessary (e.g. for audit purposes). We continue to develop this with our systems partner, Method B Ltd, as our needs and customer requirements change.

• Stock
• Calibration/verification
